A Storied Stay at the Gateway to the Scottish Highlands

A HANDCRAFTED HOTEL

The Birnam Hotel is rooted in the land, people, and culture of Perthshire. Inspired by the ancient trees of Birnam Wood, the winding River Tay, and the creative spirit of our village, every detail reflects our connection to this place. Created by the small, local team behind The Taybank in Dunkeld, we’re proudly independent and dedicated to offering a storied stay in Scotland.

OUR STORY

BEDROOMS & SUITES

At The Birnam Hotel, each individually designed bedroom has its own story. Currently undergoing thoughtful renovation, each room will be furnished with handpicked Scottish treasures and textiles, Victorian-inspired en-suites, and framed by views of the surrounding hills and trees.
